Do you think the Human cloned has a soul?
Today advanced technology so-called biotechnology is creating more product of modified living organisms for the needs and wants of today humanities. In the continuous increasing of population, our primary needs especially food had been limited to feed today population.
Do you think organic agriculture is a solution? Or either synthetic or conventional system of agriculture will feed to the huge population of the whole world? It always depend upon us to what practice do you want to engage for solving this kind of global problem. More researchers, scientist, and biologist are focusing to these problems for them to search the best solutions. The good of biotechnology is they are utilized some bad organism into a good and useful matter, provide products specifically for the human needs and providing new technology for the ease of human living.
We knew that after the death of Dolly the sheep which are the first mammal cloned by Ian Wilmut on July 5, 1996 an ethical issue are begun. More Christian believers are shouting out and alarming for this issue. Dolly is a mammal like human, so, if Dolly is created through cloning also human can be cloned, Right! With the same process, it can be possible. We knew also that our government is not allowing Human Cloning. However, theirs some scientist are attempting to clone their selves or the others.
At this issue, my question is do you think the Human cloned has a soul? Hmmp… even me I don’t really know. I have a Christian friend who studied of theology at Bicol, Philippines. He said that a human cloned has no soul because he is not God breathed. According to him soul is serves as a fuel of our body which are without soul our body is not alive. (So many testimonies about the soul separated from the human body in the book of Melvin Morse, M.D. named as Transformed by the Light). Then he also said that soul is a part of our body which is face for the God’s judgment. I asked again to him, our flesh has no life without soul therefore even cloned has a soul. Why? Because he is alive.
Additionally, my friend said we have 2 different beliefs about our flesh, soul, and spirit which are so-called Dichotomy and Tracheotomy. Dichotomy is a belief that our body has a flesh and soul which they believe that soul and spirit are the same. Tracheotomy is a belief which our body is composes of flesh, soul and spirit.
So at this point, my question is not yet totally answered. I realized that Human cloned has a soul but without spirit. Hmmp.. what do you think? Anyway, can you answer this question?
